My soon to be fiance was wanting something unique and vintage for her engagement ring. We decided to stop at Bisanar while we were in Hickory and see what they had to offer. She immediately was drawn to a lot of the vintage jewelry they have to offer. She picked out some rings she liked and the qualities she liked about them. We took all of those qualities and Erin and I spent 2 hours finding the perfect ring.
She was incredibly patient and was just as enthusiastic about finding the ring as I was. We did find the perfect ring, and I couldn't thank these people enough! The staff was amazing and I look forward to doing business with them again! Please, if you are in the market for the perfect gift or engagement/wedding ring, give these wonderful people your time and they will find you what you want a/o need!

This is the world's BEST and most professional jeweler in NC! Every time we have stepped through the door, we have received wonderful and courteous service! The staff is highly trained and knowledgeable about each piece in the store. We love the unique estate pieces you can only find at this store. Every repair has been perfect! My husband spoils me with exquisite jewelry and this is the ONLY place he will shop and make purchases. We love our trips to Hickory and the BEST jeweler in town! We give Bisanar's *****+++!

This so called "jewelry store" does not even deserve one star. This is BY FAR the worst experience i have ever had with ANY business let alone jewelry store. Horrible customer service, horrible outrageous pricing, and completely dishonest. They sold my husband and I a diamond that was supposed to be certified. However, when another jeweler checked the diamond it was not the diamond according to the certificate.
When I confronted them and tried to return my purchase the manager looked at the diamond and said it was a CZ blaming the jeweler that told me about the diamond not matching and stating that he switched it. Then I came back the next day because I knew for a fact that wasn't true and the manager wanted to "look at it again". The same manager looked at it after it was cleaned and said it wasn't a CZ it was a real diamond but agreeing it was not that same as the certificate. Again, stating that someone had switched the diamond.
Never in my life have I been so floored and down right mind blow about a business not only being complete liars but also not owning their mistake but in fact blaming it on another honest jeweler that told me it was not the diamond they said they sold me. They have no care in the world about their customers. I will never set foot near this sorry place again and i hope that no one else has to go through what i went through.

This post is simply a warning to you all seeking future purchases with Bisanar Jewelers in Hickory NC. Cody purchased my engagement ring from them in June 2017 and gave me the ring July 2nd. I wore the ring 3 months and lost 5 diamonds on all 4 corners and one random on on the halo. We took the ring in and they wouldn't cover the loss of the diamonds.
It didn't cost a fortune so we just went ahead and paid it to be fixed. The ring came back just like when Cody gave it to me. I wore the ring an additional 3 months and lost 3 more totaling 8 diamonds in 6 months. I am not hard on the ring at all I take really good care of my things. I never wear it outside or doing anything that will hurt the ring.
I wore it daily to work (where I sit behind a desk all day and have a phone to my ear) and out to dinner. I took the ring back to have it repaired for the second time. The manager told me she would have a small wire placed that you wouldn't see around the halo to secure the diamonds. She told me it would alter the look of the ring but I would still see all the diamonds.
I agreed because I didn't know what else to do to save my ring. She told me my ring had excessive wear, discoloring and scratches. I couldn't see any scratches or discoloration to my eyes but ok long story short they took the ring in on a Saturday for 2 weeks I called one week later to check on it and nothing has been done to it. The following week on a Tuesday feb 13 I get a call stating my ring will be done Wednesday.
They called again saying the wrong metal came in for it and that it would be ready by the next day. I get a call from the girl Friday who sold the ring to Cody and she said how beautiful my ring was and she couldn't wait for me to see it. So Saturday I go to pick up the ring and the manager pulls it out and says I haven't even seen it and looks at it and said "oh how beautiful" I starred at the ring in complete shock and couldn't believe how hideous they made the ring.
I told her while I was there that I didn't like it and the ring wasn't symmetrical and I was not happy. She told me to wear the the ring a few days to see if I liked it. I knew then and there I wouldn't like in an hour, half a day, sleep on it 2 days blah blah. So I came back Monday 2/19 to meet with the owner he wasn't there and wouldn't be until 230/3.
So I worked with Lori trying to get a refund back, a new ring just like mine or a trade in. She was determining I wasn't getting a refund back but I could trade it in for a $2700 or more ring and get a credit of $650 for my ring. Or one that was $1596 that was similar to mine. That wasn't flying with me when they were the ones who ruined my ring.
I asked her if the owner saw my ring and she said he did. I said he saw it just like this how it's messed up? she stated no and I left it with her to show him. I told her before I left that I wanted the owner to call me. During all of this time she was rude and nasty and slammed her hands down on the counter while I am being very nice and about in tears because they ruined a ring that I loved so much.
Later today at 230 I got a text from her saying "Hey Brandi, it's Lori at Bisanars. He said we would do a difference of 650.00. You can also finance the difference for 12 months if that helps. Just Let me know. Thanks!" I responded please have the owner call me. Never heard anything so I called at 415pm and the manager cut me short and said I am not getting involved in this and have nothing to do with it.
I kindly asked him what he thought of the ring and he said he thought it was beautiful. I stated you mean to tell me that you would give at ring looking that that to your significant other. How can you let a product leave your business looking like that. He was very rude and wasn't helpful at all. So to you all out there I am sharing the worst experience of my life that is supposed to be the happiest parts of my life that they ruined a piece of. I have photos!

Shop here at your own risk. My fiance and I had a terrible experience that ended with us having to take he ring we love (which was purchased at this establishment) to a more competent jeweler to have him fix the mistakes Bisanars REFUSED to make good on. I can't speak on their mass production jewelery, as I purchased a estate piece. However, know if you buy an estate piece like I did, they will not stand behind it if anything goes wrong. Their management is horrid.
