Nature provides the raw materials; Peter draws his inspiration both from the pulse of the modern metropolis as well as a reverence for ancient traditions of adornment. Although each piece is unique, there is a unifying thesis that ties his body of work together. They are statements of the extraordinary, grand gestures of personal expression.
Enric Majoral was born in 1949 near Barcelona. He later settled on the island of Fromentara, where he began his artistic journey dedicated to the art of making jewelry. He perceives jewelry as a form of expression and vision of the world around him-- his experiences, nature, his own origins and the memory of places are the source of his work.
Since the beginning of time, pearls have inspired the imagination and won over hearts' characteristics found in jewelry manufacturer Gellner's history, too. This history is one characterized by a love for cultured pearls and a fascination with their extraordinary magic; a love to which Gellner has always been faithful.
