I love this place. All the jewelry is custom-made and the artwork is beautiful. My husband bought a bracelet and I bought a ring. We both love them very much.

Laura, is amazing! Her patience to help me design my own pieces to work for me was a welcoming experience. The beautiful jewelry is inspired through family tradition combined with local artists. I will continue to stop in and see Laura when I am in the area. Gail H

I was in Santa Fe with my girl friends in mid March. On our last day we wandered into the delightful jewelry shop of Lewallen & Lewallen. I purchased a silver chain to hang milagros I'd bought at the Folk Art Museum. Laura helped me. After leaving the shop, the clasp on the chain lost it's integrity. I returned and Laura allowed me to exchange it for a stronger chain.

After I was home in California for less than a week, the new chain got caught on a branch and broke! I decided to mail it back to the shop as they could perhaps use the silver. Today I received a THIRD CHAIN - NO CHARGE! Can you imagine a merchant in the 21st century, in a tourist town, shipping a replacement chain to someone who had just been in their shop for 15 minutes?

I am blown away, grateful, and my faith in the goodness of people is restored. I look forward to returning to Santa Fe and delving into the magnificent collection of charms that they sell. It's a fascinating store and now I can testify that it is an honest store that stands behind it's product.

Laura made a beautiful custom mermaid bracelet for me out of neat blue climbing rope and sterling silver. Laura's work was perfect. Both Laura and Dana provided excellent customer service. What a pleasure to do business with LewAllen Jewelry. Thank you.

I went to UNM yrs ago and used to go up to Sante Fe to buy Indian Jewelry and Turquoise from the locals. I shipped it to Chicago, NY and Boston to make some extra money. Was visiting Sante Fe 10 yrs ago and while there went into LewAllen Jewelers and loved the work and bought a beautiful bracelet. I have since purchased more for others and myself. Laura is a wonderful person, her work is so unique and no matter where I go I get tons of compliments, and everyone asks where did I get them.

There is something magical about her jewelry that others notice always. I just feel better wearing the bracelets and I never take them off and admire them daily. You can order her art on-line easily.but get your butt to Sante Fe and experience the full effects and treat yourself and others to her works of art, you WILL NOT be disappointed and you'll feel good about life.

Really don't understand it but there is more to her work than just wearing jewelry! I'm going to SF in October and plan on seeing Laura and her staff.and getting some sopapilios and X-Mas enchiladas. YUM!

I met Roos Lewallen in LaGrange Park, Illinois, 1973 or so, when he was having a garage sale just before he moved to Santa Fe. Since then I have only seen him once at his store in Santa Fe, however he is still the Maestro. Did you know that he invented the ear cuff style of earring?

This is my favorite jewelry shop in Santa Fe. Almost all of their pieces are themed or have a story behind them, which makes for great gifts and/or pieces to treasure. Their prices are very reasonable, especially for the high quality, hand crafted nature of their work.

I was finally contacted by the shop and they refunded the difference. That's honorable.

I am not a person who is into Jewelery at all but I accompanied a long time friend into this store today and was overly impressed. The people working were overly-knowledgable on the jewelery and were super friendly considering me and my (uh) date weren't dressed like we had money (which is really different considering we had just been "frowned" out of "Simply Santa Fe".

See If I bring my money to that hole in the wall retail shop ever again!. ) But anyways, the people at Lewallen were above the board, friendly, and we even had a great conversation about how business is working for their deal during all the festivals that happen. Friendly gallery workers guarantee MY repeat business, and they have some really cool silver jewelery that had us buying. And we're hard sells! 5 Stars for these kids!
