Five stars isn't nearly enough for this amazing place. My partner and I had been discussing getting a custom engagement ring since the beginning of May. We originally went to a different jeweler in a different town and were told it would take MONTHS to have the ring made. The ETA they gave us was late September or early October. They also made us feel that we couldn't afford it and turned their noses at us.

Not a very good experience. It was the complete opposite at Schmitt Jewelers! From the moment we walked in, Schmitt Jewelers made us feel welcomed like part of their family. Crystal was especially helpful on going over design elements and shapes that I wanted for the center stone. When I didn't see anything in the store that caught my eye, Crystal brought out a large catalog for me to look through which is how I was able to find the perfect setting for my ring! Schmitt's made sure they could make the ring with the setting I wanted using a pear shaped center rather than the traditional solitaire.

They also let me choose which moissanite stone I wanted as the center piece when I decided I didn't want diamond as they are a bit higher in price. I also had them add Tanzanite accent stones and they even incorporated a small diamond from my great great grandmothers wedding ring into MY ring. All of the customized elements made the ring that much better!

The entire team at Schmitt Jewelers made us feel confident in our design and sent us updates through the whole process. Rather than taking several MONTHS to do this custom piece, they finished the task in about 3 weeks. They were friendly and polite, as well as money conscious. We told them our budget was $6,000 and our final price for the customized 2ct ring was just under $5,000. I can promise you'll never find a better place work with! Thanks to the wonderful job they did on my ring, they've made me a customer for life.

I have known the Schmitt family for over 20 years and I could not be happier with my experience! My husband and I were looking for a place to design a wedding band to go with a new ring we got. Ginnie and the staff here were SO helpful through the whole process. We live three hours away, but that didn't make a difference in the quality of customer service. Pictures, ideas, collaboration back and forth made it so easy to be able we were both on the same page. Amazing service and beautiful ring - I cannot say enough good things! My now fiance/then girlfriend wanted a very specific, custom ring with a matching wedding band (within our allotted budget). Schmitt Jewelers took all of our input into consideration during the design process. They shared CAD renderings of their design to make sure it looked perfect, and the actual ring turned out even better than the renderings! Such a warm welcome when my fiancee and I visited Schmitt Jewelers for the first time. Beautiful show room with the shop on full display! Despite our tight timeline, Schmitt Jewelers were able to design and deliver exactly what we wanted in an engagement ring. In fact, it turned out even better than I imagined! I was looking for what I thought would be an easy fix for my broken watch clasp. I had been told that even though they were expensive, Schmitt was excellent and would take good care of me. On 4/14/21 I dropped the watch off and was given a receipt with a written estimate date of 4/17 and a written repair date of 4/23. Two weeks later, when I hadn't heard from Schmitt, I called them and was told that they wrote my phone number down incorrectly, so they couldn't call me.

They gave me an estimate of $85.00 for a new clasp. I told them to go ahead and fix it. They told me the watch should be ready within 5 days and they'd call me for pickup. When I hadn't heard from them in another 2 weeks, I called again and was told that it was still with the repairman and was taking longer than anticipated because he was having to order the clasp and clean the band.

This didn't make sense to me, and I told them I wanted to speak with the repairman, so they gave me his phone number. No one answered, so I left a voice mail message with him. Later that afternoon, I received a voice message on my phone from Mr. Schmitt telling me that the repairman was unable to find the clasp, so they could not repair my watch. REALLY!? AFTER ALL THIS TIME!? NO COMMUNICATION WHATSOEVER FROM SCHMITT UNLESS I CALLED THEM?!

The next day I picked up my watch, drove down a few blocks to the Scottsdale Fashion Square, dropped my watch off with Fast Fix inside the mall, paid $44.95 in advance, and was guaranteed that the part could be ordered, and my watch would be fixed. Later that afternoon, I received a voice message from Fast Fix telling me that the watch was already fixed, since they had the exact clasp needed in stock.

I went back to Fast Fix the next day, picked up the watch, and it now has an identical, brand new clasp which works perfectly -- for half the price quoted by Schmitt! Don't waste your time going to Schmitt for repairs. More Expensive Is Not Always Better. TAKE YOUR JEWLERY REPAIRS TO FAST FIX INSIDE THE SCOTTSDALE FASHION SQUARE.

We truly could not be happier. Pat and the lovely people at Schmitt Jewelers transformed my wife's dated wedding ring into a showpiece. They completed it in record time (several days early so my wife could wear it on a business trip), the design is stunning, communication was flawless, the price was fantastic, and they're just wonderful people. Brought an heirloom ring of ours that I noticed one of the prongs was loose. After searching around, I decided to try Schmitt as it was a family owned business and right around the corner from us. I walked in and was immediately greeted. They had my ring all of 5 minutes and I was back in business. And the ring never looked better as they cleaned it up too!

The woman and the gentleman, he whom fixed/cleaned my ring, were very nice and friendly. They told me to bring it back every 6 months to be rechecked. Seriously wonderful service from a wonderful business that has gained us as a new customer!

Well, after the better part of a decade it was long past time for me to propose, and one of main reasons it took so long was my fear of getting taken advantage when buying the ring (I've heard horror stories from customers and former salespeople). On advice of a couple friends I went to Schmitt and I couldn't be happier. Stephanie helped me and she was fantastic- very personable and made sure all my questions were answered and I was comfortable with everything, and Tom & the Schmitt family made it happen (in the middle of a pandemic AND a busy holiday season). OMG! Such a lovely store and the staff are so welcoming. Taylor remembered me and called me by name even though I hadn't been in for months. Mr. Schmitt ands Taylor emailed me to keep me informed on progress of the rings. I felt very comfortable about them helping me design a new setting for a special diamond. It turned out more beautiful than I. could have imagined.

I just had a ring guard designed for that ring and that really complimented the original ring. So beautiful! They also repaired an antique ring for me and that ring is also magnificent. I would trust them with all my jewelry needs, wants, gifts, repairs

My husband (boyfriend at the time) was stationed overseas all the way up until a few days before the proposal. Schmitt Jewelers was able to guide him through all the decision making for my diamond and design from a distance. It's perfect! Even after I had accidentally given him the wrong size, the team at Schmitt was so kind and helpful when I arrived to get the size adjusted. Eric was back overseas within a month and they made everything so easy even with him away.

I came to Schmitt Jewelers on a recommendation from a volunteer organization where I'm a member, and I couldn't be happier! I had my grandmother's wedding band resized from a size 9 to a size 6.5/7. Everyone was very professional and told me exactly when my ring would be ready, and that they would also clean the wedding band and my engagement ring. Being relatively new to the area, I didn't know which jeweler to take care of this special piece, and now I will go there for future jewelry maintenance and purchases.

I went in to get an appraisal for a piece of jewelry. The staff was super helpful and answered all my questions. I've done business with Schmitt in the past and they are honest and have beautiful pieces of jewelry. They been around for several years and their quality is excellent.

Couldn't be more impressed or secure in my purchase. Was referred three jewelers by friend who sold loose diamonds and stones for 40 years. I was greeted and worked directly with Tim, an owner. No lack of integrity and I am a hard critic. Very very humble, and down to Earth. Well-rounded knowledge of the industry as I understand it and well-polished interpersonal skills.

After hearing more about his parameters when buying diamonds and the lengths he goes to please clientele, I will be making larger purchases with them. Tim spent a significant amount of time with me for such a modest purchase. I could not find what I wanted in the price range I wanted. Tim designed a ring that matched everything I was looking for, with the pretty unbelievable price in comparison to the original rings including the stone color, clarity, and cut.

Schmitt Jewlers did an amazing job on an engagement ring we had custom designed. Ginnie helped us design it and provided us reassurance every step of the way. We were kind of worried it wouldn't turn out the. way we like, but she kept assuring us it would be and she was right! We had an opal ring made, and one nice touch was that Ginnie ordered multiple opals in and let us choose which one we liked best before designing the ring.

She then had a custom CAD model made on the computer that we were able to make multiple revisions to before making a plastic model to try on. Ginnie also always remembered us by name, responded to emails very fast, and was always so happy to see us when we went into the store. Thank you Ginnie for making our experience amazing. We will definitely be back!

I recently worked with Julia to create a custom ring and she was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment I walked in to the day I picked it up she was personable, attentive to the design details I was aspiring for and amazing in all aspects of customer service. I've had many repairs done here, and admired their jewelry for years. They do absolutely beautiful, perfect repair work. If another jeweler can't do the job, bring it here. Their staff includes jewelry artists, craftsmen and designers. I think they can do everything. They are also very nice, helpful and service is excellent. I highly recommend.

This is the nicest family owned jewelry store in Phoenix. They went so far above taking care of my friend for her daughter's wedding and then replacing my Michele watch battery no charge. Can't imagine shopping anywhere else. Tom and Tim are true pros and have continued a long history of quality service in the jewelry industry in Phoenix. My wife is always thrilled to see the Schmitt "blue bag" come home. The guidance and suggestions (in any price range) from the staff is outstanding and they never disappoint. A great example of what an excellent locally owned business looks like.

Schmitt jewelers does excellent custom work. They bought our diamonds and gold for a trade. We bought my engagement ring and my fiancees wedding band with Schmitt. Both were custom and we are very pleased so far with the process. One downside is they have very limited hours making it nearly impossible for my full time working fiance to come with me.

Thank you Schmitt Jewelers and thank you Megan for my ring! Megan is super nice and personable. They ship your purchase via FedEX too in case you're not able to go to the store in person. The only problem was making a payment through the phone. Josh was out of town for a training so one of the older ladies was taking my credit card information. It was a chore. However, I would recommend Schmitt Jewelers!
